Deaf Teen Quest

Deaf Teen Quest teams build Christ-centered relationships with deaf and hard of hearing students. Teams of caring adults enter the world of deaf teenagers as they face pivotal moments in life.

DTQ provides a safe, loving community where faith is strengthened and friendship can thrive. Through mentorship, small groups, service opportunities, and fun activities, students find a place where they can grow into leaders and make a positive difference in the world.

Parent Services:

We believe God placed your Deaf/HH child into your family on purpose, and you are the primary disciple-maker in your home. DTQ seeks to come alongside parents and support them in discipling their teens. That is why we partner with parents to support them in their journey alongside our students.

Services Include:

Communication Coaching (Specific ASL training for essential conversations)
Parent Support Group
Special Event interpreting (one time faith-based event or funeral)

What is Deaf Teen Quest?

Deaf Teen Quest is a national organization started in 2000. From the ages of 11–19, Deaf Teens are on a quest to navigate who they are and where they fit in the world. At DTQ, students learn they are not on the journey alone. ASL-Fluent mentors are trained to walk alongside them to help navigate the complexities of growing up Deaf in a Hearing world.
