Lisa Lombardo, JJM Ministry Leader

Lisa is new to the YFC/JJM volunteers.  She travels weekly with us to the Cleveland County Juvenile Detention Center to minister to young teenage girls. She brings such a compassion and desire to help these young gals in every arena of life. She has been a faithful prayer warrior and comes weekly with scripture that the Lord has laid on her heart for them.
She joins a team of faithful ladies who see the value in the brokenness of these young lives. Her determination and desire for prayer on their behalf is a challenge to all of us. As she speaks into their hearts the hope of Jesus, they listen intently to what she shares. We are deeply grateful to have the privilege of ministering with her and look forward to sharing the vision of this ministry with her as she has added so much to our team. God has been gracious in bringing her to us!

Thanks Lisa! We love you and your heart for Jesus!

JULY 2021

Grace Hanson, Admin Ministry Leader

Since 2007, Grace Hanson has been faithfully serving our Youth for Christ Administrative staff! When YFC was featured as a mission moment at her church, Grace wanted to volunteer but thought the office would be too far from her as she does not drive, but not so. She would walk the 13 blocks to the office and back when ever there was an administrative need she could help with. As our number of staff grew and the administrative needs in the office grew, we moved to our current location and Grace moved to a senior apartment not far from here. She became a weekly staple at 709 Brookpark Rd! Her smiling face, kind words and concern spilled over to everyone who walked thru our doors. She would arrive by special transportation weekly - until we found out she was paying for the ride she needed to serve us! Grace is a tremendous help to the finance department, filing paid invoices every week and folding and mailing off the receipts to donors. She cleans around the offices and devotes a full week of time to us ~ every 6 weeks or so when we put out our near 3,000 piece Newsletter mailing by folding, counting and helping deliver to the Bulk Department at the Post office. We could not do what we do without her weekly hours of service. Oh how great it would be to have more volunteers like Grace in the office!
