PAT BAUGHMAN

Office Assistant

I was born in Pittsburgh and spent my early school years in Oakmont, a suburb of Pittsburgh and my high school years living in Bairdford, a coal mining town, as my dad was a coal miner. I met my husband, Ernie, in high school. We married in 1957 and were blessed to have 4 children, and 8 grandchildren. We have been busy “loving” grandchildren for a long time now. We moved to Ohio in 1967 and our last child was born a Buckeye and is a Browns fan. I won’t mention the football team preference of the other three children.

I began working with Greater Cleveland Youth for Christ as an office volunteer. I joined the Administrative Staff in December 2009. Before coming to Youth for Christ, I was a church secretary for 17 years. I also worked with “Neighbors Who Care,” a Chuck Colson Prison Fellowship outreach, ministering to victims of crime in the city of Cleveland.

Youth for Christ has been an important part of my life for many years. All of my children were involved with Youth for Christ, attending the Berea Campus Life Club. And, now I am continuing the involvement. Even though I do not work directly with youth, I am part of a support system for the Ministry Staff helping to enable them to carry on the work of reaching the youth of our city with the Gospel.
